TREEBALL | HELSINKI | FINLAND

Treeball were formed in 2000 in Helsinki, after the arrival in Finland of UK songwriter and record producer Nick Triani. Triani's former band Supermodel released three critically acclaimed lo-fi pop-albums recorded for legendary UK indie Fire Records and Columbia Records USA. After Supermodel split, Triani moved to Finland and formed Treeball. Pop duets are rare in rock -- Treeball embrace this tradition, with songs full of cynical yet tender duets, reminding some listeners of Velvet Underground, Pavement, Burt Bacharach, Big Star, Grandaddy and the Go-Betweens.

The songs featured here include two exclusive tracks, plus two songs fron the band's albums. Also included is a video for "Monkeys", the single from their new album "National Treasure" (Stupido).

AARON BOOTH | TORONTO | CANADA

Aaron Booth's songs draw on the soul of Americana, the spirit of classic pop, and the craft of the Brill Building writers. Aaron's first studio album, "Transparent", is an inviting and intimate folk-pop record written during his early solo tours. Both Transparent and his latest album, "Our Last Escape" (Endearing), were co-produced by Aaron and Dave Draves (Kathleen Edwards, Julie Doiron). Our Last Escape features big arrangements for horn, flute, vibraphone, harmonies and plenty of other vintage treasures.

This exclusive IPX release offers four brand new Aaron Booth songs showcasing the songwriter at the top of his game, plus a live video of "Somewhere In Between" from Transparent.
